Allied Telesis, Inc. (Headquarters: Shinagawa, Tokyo, Chairman: Akira Oshima) will begin shipping the Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch "AT-GS910/10XST" starting August 1, 2022. The "AT-GS910/10XST" is a Layer 2 Gigabit Ethernet switch equipped with one multi-gigabit port for uplink (supporting 100/1G/2.5G/5G/10GBASE-T) and one SFP+ slot, along with eight standard 10/100/1000BASE-T ports. It features 10G/multi-gigabit ports, allowing 10G connections using CAT6e cables, and enabling 2.5G/5G communication using existing CAT5e wiring, thus upgrading the existing 1G environment to high speed without the need for cable changes, saving time and costs. As a compact 10-port model, it supports operating temperatures up to 50°C, making it suitable for installation in high-temperature environments.
