The "IP500APP" is a set of IP transceiver applications manufactured by Icom. It is sold as a package with the Kyocera Android smartphone "DuraForcePRO." Similar to Icom's conventional IP radios, it allows for real-time simultaneous calls anywhere in Japan as long as you are within the coverage area of the docomo 3G/LTE network. You can send voice by continuously tapping the call button displayed on the app screen. The DuraForcePRO is equipped with a PTT button on the side of the device, allowing you to make calls while using other applications such as GPS location management screens or web browsers. No license application or personal qualifications are required, and the dedicated app can be downloaded for free; however, login information obtained at the time of contract with the retailer is necessary to use the app. It is recommended for use in scenarios where field personnel frequently communicate using the IP radio itself, while office personnel use the application for instructions and situation confirmations.
