When processing 4 axes at 4 locations (M4) with a tapping machine, we faced challenges such as "the setup takes too much time when machining with Fanuc for small lot production" and "only skilled workers can perform the tasks." Therefore, we conducted the tapping position layout using a general-purpose air cylinder. Previously, we relied on the intuition of skilled workers for positioning, but now even novice workers can perform the machining, reducing stress and fatigue during work.
