We faced the issue that, although some parts were changed to resin gears for the purpose of quantification, there was a strength difference compared to the metal gears, leading to wear on the resin gears. Therefore, we applied a dry lubrication coating to the metal gears. As a result, the lifespan of the resin gears was extended, significantly increasing the lifespan of the unit, and reducing dust generation believed to be caused by the resin gears, leading to effects beyond our expectations.
