Enabling effective leak response! A proposal to redesign the packing holder structure to solve problems!
We received a consultation from a customer who is using a gland packing as a sealing material to stop leaks from a rotary valve, reporting that leaks were occurring. Gland packing requires regular tightening, but the customer was using a simple type that could not be tightened, so we switched to a rotary valve that allows for tightening. By tightening the gland packing, we can achieve an immediate response to the leaks. In resolving this issue, we were able to produce multiple positive effects, and the customer was very pleased.
