KMC's "Thermo Monitoring" senses the temperature of the mold surface using an infrared thermal camera during the opening of various molds such as die-cast and resin molds. It captures real-time temperature changes of the mold during mass production and detects heat accumulation that can cause defects. The acquired data is transmitted wirelessly to a receiver and displayed on a computer in thermographic format. It allows for visual confirmation of heat accumulation in the mold, and with the threshold setting function, warning notifications are also possible. If control signals are obtained from the equipment, it can also support automatic imaging (manual imaging is also supported). Being wireless, it achieves easy installation without any troublesome wiring!
