FerRobotics Compliant Robot Technology GmbH has developed the UR+ model ACF-K using its proprietary ACT technology. It can be easily configured on the teaching pendant of Universal Robots UR10, UR10e, and UR16e. The end effector (ACF) utilizing ACT technology automatically compensates for changes in the dimensions, curved shapes, and non-planarity of the workpiece at high speed through instantaneous stroke adjustments, maintaining contact with the workpiece at a constant force as set. This technology increases the speed of the device and robot's trajectory, thereby enhancing processing speed and improving cycle time. Additionally, it automatically compensates for tool load variations due to gravity changes at different robot angles, ensuring a consistent pressing force from any angle and enabling a finish without processing inconsistencies. Our proprietary technology allows for fully automated polishing with a paper changer!
