The "MFG type" is a magnet-type tank gauge designed for intrinsically safe explosion-proof specifications. It allows for remote indication using DC 4-20mA with contact signal output, as well as DC and AC power sources. The liquid level inside the tank can be clearly visually confirmed without using power.
