"Connecting thoughts, changing the flow" - Possibilities expand from just one joint!
The fittings mainly called elbows serve to change the direction of fluid (gas or liquid) flow. Depending on the usage, they are classified into three types based on the bending angle: 45°, 90°, and 180°. Additionally, fittings known as tees and wyes have the function of branching or merging fluid flow. Nipples and sockets connect fittings of the same diameter or extend their length, while reducers and bushings connect fittings of different diameters, allowing for the expansion or reduction of pipe size. Fittings such as caps and plugs function to stop the flow of fluid by sealing the ends of pipes. Fittings also serve other roles, such as transmitting mechanical power and absorbing vibrations or thermal expansion.
