From transparent packaging to opaque colored containers, we achieve high-throughput spectral analysis.
The RapID system is a next-generation portable system for Raman raw material identification (ID) verification, enabling high-throughput spectral analysis from transparent packages to opaque colored containers. For pharmaceutical manufacturers, the identification testing of raw materials in opaque containers can become a bottleneck. Verifying the contents requires a dedicated sampling area to open the container, perform sampling and testing, and then re-seal it. The spatially offset Raman spectroscopy (SORS) technology of the RapID system is a unique Raman technology ideal for non-destructive identification verification of raw materials. Operators of the RapID system can verify the contents of containers through opaque or colored packaging in just a few seconds, allowing raw materials to be immediately transferred to the production line. This significantly reduces the time spent on handling raw materials and laboratory testing, cutting overhead from several hours or days per batch down to just a few minutes.
