Powdered HSS ASP2030 is a cobalt-containing steel type for high-performance cutting tools. It is equivalent to SKH40 steel.

ASP2030 is a powdered high-speed steel used at a hardness of approximately HRC 64 to 68. ASP2030 is the same as ASP30, which has been distributed domestically for a long time. The material name was changed in the 2000s. It is recommended for tools such as taps, drills, broaches, and cutters, as well as for cold processing like fine blanking. It is also available for saw blades such as band saws and circular saws.
