Powdered HSS ASP2023 is a non-cobalt-containing steel grade for high-performance cutting tools, cold working tools, and cold rolling rolls.

ASP2023 is a non-cobalt powder high-speed steel used at a hardness of approximately HRC60 to 66. ASP2023 is the same as ASP23, which has been distributed domestically for many years. The material name was changed in the 2000s. It is particularly recommended for cold processing such as fine blanking, and in recent years, due to the increasing demand for semiconductors, there has been a growing track record of its use in mold dies for IC encapsulation and resin encapsulation.
