[Case Study] Construction Machinery Manufacturing Plant - Coagulation Sedimentation Type Wastewater Treatment Facility
Good solid-liquid separation by coagulation and sedimentation! The settled sludge is discharged outside the system in the dewatering process.
We would like to introduce a case study of the design, construction, and consulting for a coagulation sedimentation wastewater treatment facility at a construction machinery manufacturing plant. The washing wastewater generated during processes such as painting in the manufacturing of construction machinery contains a large amount of heavy metals and phosphorus, which is why this facility employs a coagulation sedimentation treatment method. To efficiently treat the heavy metals and phosphorus contained in the wastewater, lime and coagulants are added to the reaction tank to effectively generate coagulation flocs. Additionally, by adjusting the pH, the generated coagulation flocs are allowed to grow larger, and then, through a sedimentation tank, the flocs are settled by gravity, achieving good solid-liquid separation. The clear supernatant water is discharged as treated water, while the settled sludge is removed through a dewatering process.
