[Musculoskeletal Analysis Case] Posture Optimization Analysis

Collaboration between AnyBody and HyperStudy! Introduction and comparison of the results obtained from exploration for each reclining angle.

In this article, we introduce a case study that explores seating postures using HyperStudy, with the joint angles of the AnyBody human model as parameters, aiming to minimize muscle strain. We present and compare the results of the exploration conducted for each reclining angle. In particular, during the design and prototyping process, it is necessary to uniquely determine the posture during product use based on some rationale, without relying solely on measurements. Here, in several scenes corresponding to different reclining angles, we determined the "comfortable (non-straining) posture for the human body" using the optimization software 'HyperStudy'.
