Integration of metal shafts into the chassis through composite technology! Achieved cost reduction by reducing the number of parts.
We would like to introduce a case study of the design of the chassis/shaft used in the "laser printer drive unit." By integrating the metal shaft into the chassis through composite technology, we achieved significant cost reduction through a substantial decrease in the number of parts. This was realized through optimization of shrinkage/warping using CAE and design considerations for the sliding of gears/shafts. 【Case Overview】 ■ Application: Laser printer drive unit ■ Materials: POM, PBT *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
