Measure and quantify color considering the fluorescence of paper under any light source. A lightweight handheld spectrophotometer.
This product is a measuring device equipped with Konica Minolta's unique VFS (Virtual Fluorescence Standard) technology, enabling color evaluation that takes into account the fluorescence of paper under the D50 light source, which is the standard in the printing industry. Additionally, with the incorporation of an automatic wavelength calibration function, corrections for the measurement wavelength currently performed during manufacturer maintenance can also be carried out simultaneously with routine white calibration. *1 Printing industry standard: The color standard ISO 13655 for the printing industry standardizes color evaluation, including fluorescence, under the D50 light source. *2 D50 light source: An artificial light source close to natural light, used during color measurement. *3 Fluorescence: The property of absorbing ultraviolet light and emitting light with that energy. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.

Company information
Color and light measurement instruments and appearance inspection systems, hyperspectral cameras While there are standards for length and weight, there are none for color. We have created a standard for color, which each person could only perceive through their senses, by measuring and quantifying it. Our goal is to provide a reference value for color and light that replaces the uncertain human eye. This means creating a "ruler" that everyone can use to measure color with confidence. It should provide consistent and stable values anytime and anywhere. Additionally, it is important that the values from the measuring instruments match what is visually observed. We aim to deliver reliable values regardless of the environment in which measurements are taken around the world. Our advanced technology for measuring color and light brings safety and peace of mind to our customers and enhances product value.
