A case study monitoring the effects of drug uptake and tumor cell proliferation using an automated fluorescence live cell imaging microscope.
Spheroid cell culture has emerged as a powerful in vitro tool for tumor treatment research. The proliferating cells in the 3D tumor spheroids are shown with green fluorescence labeling. The red fluorescence labeling represents the drugs injected into the tumor spheroids. *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.*

basic information
The "CytoSMART Lux3 FL" is a compactly designed automatic fluorescence live cell imaging microscope that allows observation in a controlled environment within a cell culture incubator using bright field and two-wavelength fluorescence channels (green and red). By acquiring high-quality images to create real-time time-lapse movies and snapshots, it is possible to track specific and dynamic cellular processes. 【Features】 ■ Bright field digital phase contrast and two-wavelength fluorescence imaging ■ Monitoring cell culture in a stable environment within the cell culture incubator ■ Complete remote access without the need to visit the laboratory for each cell culture inspection ■ Email alert notifications for abnormalities in cell culture ■ Development of cellular processes through time-lapse movies ■ Easy expansion of multiple device setups with a single computer

Our company was established in December 1977 by Masaharu Kinkai (currently the representative director), who left the Japanese general agency for the West German company Ernst Leitz, Schmidt Co., Ltd., and set up in Nagoya City, Aichi Prefecture. In 1983, with the establishment of the Okazaki National Research Institute (now the National Institutes of Natural Sciences), we relocated to Okazaki City, Aichi Prefecture, where we remain to this day. We serve as the Japanese agents for companies such as Sutter, CytoSMART Technology, and Logos Biosystems, introducing high-quality scientific instruments from around the world to Japanese researchers day and night.
