A safe low molecular weight polymer for applications handling most reactive gases, including oxygen and chlorine!
"Halocarbon 1.8 Oil" is a low molecular weight polymer of perfluorinated ethylene (PCTFE). The very unique properties of this inert oil are created by stabilizing it after it is manufactured through a controlled polymerization process. This oil is safe, non-flammable, and chemically inert, making it safe for use in applications that handle most reactive gases, including oxygen and chlorine. It is characterized by excellent lubricity, high thermal stability, and low compressibility. This product is one of the low viscosity inert oils manufactured by our company and can also be used as a fluid for metalworking and wire drawing processes.
