When the degree of wear is in microns (i.e., 0.001 mm), it is impossible to visually confirm the wear. For simple shapes, measurement can be performed using the following methods: 1. Measured with calipers (approximate: 0.1 mm) 2. Measured with a micrometer (approximate: 0.01 mm) 3. Comparative measurement with block gauges and dial gauges (approximate: 0.001 mm) <For easy measurement> Preparing a dedicated measuring instrument (hereinafter referred to as "gauge") is the quickest way. If you simply want to know whether the shaft diameter falls within the specified tolerance, a feeler gauge is used. It can also be used when determining thickness.
