The seismic isolation device "TTR type" significantly reduces the displacement of transformer terminal sections caused by large seismic motions, preventing large-scale power outages due to transformer damage. With the installation of TTR, a displacement of ±50mm or less at the terminal section has been achieved for all experimental seismic waves. Based on the building's response characteristics, it is possible to calculate and simulate the displacement of the transformer during an earthquake. In past earthquakes (such as those in Eastern Japan and Kumamoto), the heaviest transformers in the cubicles were damaged, resulting in many cases where emergency generators could not supply electricity even if they were intact. Transformers are not readily available, meaning that operations would be halted during that time. TTR not only protects the transformer but also enhances the overall rigidity of the cubicle, contributing to the protection of various relays and LCBs.
