Measure the sound absorption rate and transmission loss of the main frequency band with a single acoustic tube!
The absorption rate and transmission loss in the main frequency range (100Hz to 5000Hz) can be measured at once using a single acoustic tube. Since there is no need for multiple measurements with different sizes of acoustic tubes and samples, data inconsistencies do not occur, and the labor required for sample preparation (cutting) and measurement can be significantly reduced.

basic information
■ Adoption of transparent acrylic for sample support Transparent acrylic is used for the sample support of the acoustic tube. This allows for visual confirmation of the sample's mounting status during measurement, significantly reducing measurement errors due to incorrect sample mounting. ■ Compatible with vertical incidence transmission loss measurement using the four-microphone method By replacing the sample support with an optional tube for transmission loss measurement, it is possible to measure the vertical incidence transmission loss of samples standardized by ASTM E2611. ■ Significant reduction of the influence of sample panel vibrations through a loose support sample holder By using a uniquely developed loose support sample holder, the impact of panel vibrations caused by the elasticity of the sample, which has been a longstanding issue, can be greatly reduced in the sound absorption rate measurement results. ■ Applicable standards ISO 10534-2, ASTM E1050, JIS A 1405-2 (sound absorption rate), ASTM E2611 (transmission loss) ● For more details, please refer to the catalog or contact us.
