We propose installation along the outer wall of the flow path! This can contribute to the overall compactness of the heat exchanger!
We received an inquiry stating, 'I want to shorten the distance required for heat exchange.' As a solution, please consider the installation of folding fins on the gas side. If the flow path on the gas side is a circular pipe, installing the fins along the outer wall of the flow path can increase the heat transfer area. When folding fins shaped like those in the diagram are installed, in addition to expanding the heat transfer area, the fluid will flow more easily near the pipe wall, which can improve the heat exchange efficiency with the external fluid side. Therefore, we believe this could contribute to the overall compactness of the heat exchanger.
