Pressing a ball (steel ball) into the pass hole of a manifold block We would like to introduce a case of manufacturing an 'automotive parts assembly device and ball pressing device.' A considerable amount of force is required to press a 5mm diameter steel ball into the through hole of a workpiece. Since this operation is performed across multiple holes of the workpiece, manual labor is demanding and there are potential dangers during the pressing process. To address these challenges, we automated the ball pressing operation using a servo press machine and employed a multi-joint robot for the workpiece's posture transformation, thereby saving labor and personnel while ensuring safety and stability.
