Discovering unmet (desired but unfulfilled) needs We will translate lifestyle benefits into lifestyle needs and identify the actions currently being taken to meet those needs. Next, we will uncover unmet needs from those actions and the associated issues. (We will refer to our company's data.) 3. Generating product ideas We will generate ideas using unique methods based on the unmet needs. 4. 【Discovering Users' "Unmet Strong Needs"】 We will uncover "unmet strong needs" that users themselves may not even be aware of through the following steps: - Identify actions in their daily life (such as cooking) that they are doing reluctantly, even though they would rather not do them. - Next, investigate the purpose behind those actions. - The "unmet strong needs" are what they are willing to endure unpleasant tasks to achieve. - Although it may seem easy to find answers, both the users and the researchers need to think deeply to arrive at the answers. 【Planning User Satisfaction-Creating Products】 - Unlike before, addressing dissatisfaction and discomfort from fragmented and intermittent scenes inevitably leads to a short-sighted product concept. - Therefore, we will transform users' experiences with products and systems into a story and think of solutions for "unmet strong needs" based on that narrative. - The UX framework (refer to attached document, page 6) has been prepared for this purpose. - By using it, we can create product plans that are more surprising and empathetic, leading to user satisfaction. - However, the UX framework is a draft, so it is necessary to reflect and revise it while progressing through the product concept, detailed specifications of the system, visualization, and work.
