(1) Structure Standards for Explosion-Proof Electrical Equipment (Ministry of Labor Notification No. 16, 1969) Originally, this was the only standard in Japan. Manufacturers that have long been compliant with pressure-resistant explosion-proof structures have obtained certification under this standard. Products marked "d2G4" are based on this structure standard (Japanese standard). (2) Technical Standards (Ministry of Labor Notification No. 208, 1988, amended Ministry of Labor Notification No. 556, 1996) To accept overseas products, this was added based on international standards (IEC). New products have obtained certification in accordance with the technical guidelines aligned with international standards 2008 and the international explosion-proof guidelines 2015.
