Introducing a case study of the "Bed Entry/Exit Information Sharing System" for nursing and caregiving facilities. We received a request from a customer stating, "We would like a system that notifies nurses and caregivers when patients or residents leave their beds at night, as there is a risk of falling from the bed." In response, we collaborated with another company to develop a system where a sensor embedded in the bed detects when a patient leaves the bed and sends an alert to the smartphone held by the nurse. The alert is triggered immediately upon exit, allowing information to be received quickly from anywhere within the facility.
