[Existing Specialized] Effective even with neutralized concrete (solving issues related to reactive types). Please make use of it for surface coating and substrate modification in cross-section repair.
L-OSMO Solidification Type KK" is a solidification-type lithium silicate surface impregnation material that contributes to the preventive maintenance and longevity of existing concrete structures. It is effective for concrete surfaces that have become neutralized, where conventional silicate-based surface impregnation materials cannot be applied. By densifying the concrete surface and sealing cracks of 0.2mm or less, it suppresses the progression of deterioration and reduces lifecycle costs. There is no change in appearance after application, and any deformation of the concrete can be visually confirmed. Reapplication is easy, and it can be used in conjunction with other methods. Preventive maintenance and longevity measures can be achieved on a low budget. No special qualifications are required, and it allows for quick and easy application. By modifying the substrate concrete with "L-OSMO Solidification Type KK," and then applying surface coatings and cross-section repair materials, it is also effective for extending lifespan by providing double protection to the concrete surface and its exterior (both inside and outside). It is also effective in areas with low applicability of silane-based surface impregnation materials, such as water accumulation spots and crack areas. *Due to the increase in product lineup in 2023, the name has been changed from "OSMO-KK" to "L-OSMO Solidification Type KK.

Rinac OSMO Co., Ltd. is a leading company that has developed a solidified lithium silicate-based concrete surface impregnation agent, L-OSMO Solidified Type KK, which has been confirmed to be effective with neutralized concrete for the first time in Japan (Patent No. 4484872). L-OSMO Solidified Type KK is also a pioneer in the field of concrete modification materials. As the importance of infrastructure maintenance increases, we have developed a solidified silicate surface impregnation agent that can be combined with various surface protection materials (Patent No. 7311215). The unique feature of densifying and modifying the concrete surface layer (a few millimeters from the surface) extends the lifespan of concrete structures.
