To understand thermal (heat) environments, the Wet Bulb Black Globe Temperature (WBGT) is used, which is calculated from the temperature of a device called a black globe. However, since it is a specialized device and not easy to handle, it has not been widely adopted. This technology allows for the measurement of Wet Bulb Black Globe Temperature (WBGT) despite its simple configuration. Additionally, it can be easily used by anyone, making it straightforward to utilize for the prevention of heat-related illnesses by understanding WBGT. 【Features of the Technology】 - No need for specialized black globe thermometers or difficult-to-handle wet bulb thermometers (can be created using commercially available components) - Direct reading of thermal (heat) environments - Stationary and all-weather type - No prediction errors due to installation methods - Provides data more reflective of reality in the morning and evening compared to black globe wet bulb temperature (WBGT) This technology is expected to lead to the development of a "wet black globe water thermometer" that allows anyone to accurately, easily, and affordably understand thermal environments.
