"CraftMate" for more comfortable use of the Far Robotics polishing unit Nobo's CraftMate consists of three components: a "3D camera for path generation," a force sensor that remembers the force and direction with which the sanding tool touches the workpiece, and the "FT Mimic Kit" that moves the universal robot, along with the "NAC unit" that adjusts the pressing pressure. By replacing the "FT Mimic Kit" and "NAC unit" with Far Robotics' "ACF Kit," longer stroke polishing tasks become possible. *In this case, the polishing task is composed solely of Far Robotics products, and CraftMate functions as software for path generation. It helps automate the "polishing" process, which is not quantified, to teach tasks performed by humans in a more intuitive manner.
