Compounds of aromatic sulfonium salts! This publication includes products that have UV absorption.
This document introduces "UV Curing with SunAid SI." Since SunAid SI consists of aromatic sulfonium salt compounds, it has UV absorption. Therefore, when exposed to high-pressure mercury lamps (wavelength 200–450nm), it is activated by that energy and causes the epoxy resins to undergo ring-opening polymerization through a cationic polymerization mechanism. [Contents] ■1. UV Curing Mechanism ■2. Characteristics of Cationic Polymerization ■3. Examples of UV Curing Tests ■Test Conditions ■Test Methods *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Our company was established in 1949 (Showa 24) as the Sanshin Chemical Research Institute in Suo-Oshima Town, Yamaguchi Prefecture, and since then, we have steadily grown as a chemical manufacturer focusing on organic rubber chemicals. The name of our company means to create "good products," "at low prices," and "in large quantities" ("San") using "new technology" ("Shin"), and since our founding, we have advocated being a "small company that can compete globally."
