We will introduce a solar power generation system and storage batteries to the facility as a measure to reduce electricity costs and for disaster preparedness (BCP measures).
Industrial storage systems face challenges such as high initial costs compared to residential systems, large sizes, and difficulties in securing installation space. Therefore, our company has adopted a home battery system that can also be implemented in high-voltage facilities, achieving a compact and lightweight design that offers lower prices and more options for installation locations. This system operates in conjunction with a dedicated power conditioner for complete self-consumption, enabling low-loss self-consumption through high-speed and high-precision load-following control. Additionally, it can efficiently charge excess power generated and then discharge it, contributing to reduced electricity costs through improved overall self-consumption rates and strengthening BCP during disasters. It is also compatible with high-voltage receiving equipment such as protective relays, making it easier to introduce storage systems in facilities with high-voltage contracts. Through the provision of this system, we aim to further promote self-consumption solar power systems, contribute to the realization of a carbon-neutral society through the utilization of renewable energy, and build a resilient society that is strong against disasters.
