The possibilities of decoration expand with on-demand transfer foil (ODF: On Demand Film). Small lots are also available.
It is a technology that produces transfer foil directly from design data using an on-demand printing system. The characteristic feature is that it does not require the plate-making process typical of conventional gravure printing or silk printing, allowing for immediate production of transfer foil. There are two types of on-demand transfer foil (ODF: On Demand Film): one for in-mold forming transfer and the other for heat transfer, both of which excel in small lot production and short delivery development.

basic information
1. Direct transfer film production from data without the need for plate making. The usual methods for producing transfer films are gravure printing or screen printing. However, with on-demand production, it is possible to manufacture within a week, addressing the issue of delivery times. 2. A wide variety of color options. While standard on-demand printing can handle CMYK along with white and metallic printing, this equipment is also capable of printing metallic (vacuum deposition), pearl, and hologram finishes. 3. Transfer foil can be produced in small lots. This is particularly effective for cases with relatively small quantities, from prototypes to small lot production. Additionally, since it involves direct printing from data, it can flexibly accommodate sudden design or color changes as long as the data is modified.

Applications/Examples of results
In transfer foil, we have a track record of prototyping and small-lot production in the home appliance sector, prototyping in the automotive sector, and from prototyping to mass production in the miscellaneous goods sector, such as cups and lunch boxes. In in-mold transfer molding, we have numerous achievements in prototyping and from prototyping to mass production in the automotive and home appliance sectors, as well as in the amusement sector.

NIS is a company that brings to life the designs requested by customers who want to add a design to a product, utilizing the technology, knowledge, and imagination it has cultivated. Among these technologies are In Mold Release (IMR), Out Mold Decoration (OMD), and On Demand Film (ODF), and we offer system sales of equipment, molds, jigs, and films (such as transfer foils), and sometimes we also accept contract processing. Additionally, we respond to decoration requests using traditional technologies such as hot stamping with foils, heat transfer, pad printing, and silk printing with inks.
