Pig manure fermentation promoter for odor control in pig houses and farms BJC-HKTP
BJC-HKTP
It reduces odors in pig farms' waste treatment, promotes compost fermentation, and enables the production of high-quality organic fertilizer in a short period.
Due to the unique method of high-concentration cultivation of microorganisms primarily consisting of lactic acid bacteria with strong fermentation power from pig manure, the decomposition rate is fast, producing high-quality organic fertilizer. It is also optimal for cases where compost does not ferment in low external temperatures during winter or for re-fermentation of compost that has failed once. Because of the high-concentration cultivation, it can be diluted from the original solution up to about 1000 times, making it economical. We carefully select and cultivate microorganisms primarily based on lactic acid bacteria that are harmless to humans and animals, and their safety has been proven through acute oral toxicity tests using mice, allowing for safe use. Additionally, some livestock farmers mix the diluted fermentation solution with livestock drinking water or feed and ferment it before feeding, which has been greatly appreciated for maintaining health through the intestinal regulation effects of lactic acid bacteria and reducing the odor of manure. The unpleasant odors associated with fermentation, such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, can also be reduced by the enzymes and microorganisms included in the fermentation promoter, enabling ideal fermentation. High-temperature bio-fermentation with lactic acid bacteria and composting of livestock manure contributes to climate change measures by not producing methane gas, thus supporting the SDGs.

basic information
Fermentation promoters and fermentation bacteria for composting have very strong fermentation power and high organic matter decomposition ability. Therefore, in livestock farms such as dairy cattle, pig farming, and poultry farming, they are used for significantly shortening the fermentation period in composting manure and urine, as well as for diluting the fermentation promoter and spraying it in livestock barns to reduce odors. We have received many positive feedbacks about composting sludge discharged from septic tanks and eliminating bad odors by adding it to slurry storage, resulting in high-quality liquid fertilizer. When using fermentation promoters in composting, the fermentation occurs at high temperatures around 70°C, which can kill pathogenic fungi contained in the compost while producing high-quality compost. Additionally, the unpleasant odors associated with fermentation, such as ammonia and hydrogen sulfide, can be reduced through the action of enzymes and microorganisms contained in the fermentation promoters, enabling ideal fermentation.

Applications/Examples of results
The odor of manure (pig waste) emitted from pig farms is decomposed by fermentation bacteria, which reduces the unpleasant smell while promoting the fermentation of compost, making it possible to produce high-quality organic fertilizer in a short period. This significantly shortens the fermentation period and decomposes unpleasant odors during fermentation, helping to address odor issues for nearby residents and reduce stress for livestock, and it has been recognized by many livestock farmers.

As a fermentation promoter for composting livestock manure (beef, pork, and poultry), it addresses odor issues and barn smells, significantly shortens the fermentation period, and enables the production of high-quality compost. In river management by the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, large amounts of weeds that grow annually on riverbanks are cut and composted on a scale of 100 tons per year. Our fermentation promoter BJC-HK1 has been used for many years, and we sell the fermentation bacteria necessary for producing high-quality compost.
