Applications/Examples of results
**Testing Method** 1. Sample Preparation (3 pieces each) Prepare as follows: - Test Sample: The specimen (wet wipe) itself. It is also possible to create and use a liquid-soaked cotton cloth. - Control Sample: A cotton cloth (Cotton No. 3-1, 15 cm × 10 cm) soaked in 1.5 times the amount of phosphate buffer solution. 2. Application of Test Bacterial Solution to Test Carrier Apply the test bacterial solution (prepared in normal broth medium at 1.0 to 5.0 × 10^9 CFU/mL mixed in equal amounts with bovine serum albumin solution (model stain)) to the test carrier (stainless steel piece). 3. Wiping of Test Carrier with Sample Attach one piece of the sample to a 150 g weight, then press it against the test carrier installed in a dedicated wiping device, and perform 5 back-and-forth motions at a rate of 120 times/minute. 4. Measurement of Viable Bacterial Count Wash out the test carrier and measure the viable bacterial count. 5. Evaluation Compare the logarithmic values of the remaining viable bacterial counts on the test carrier after wiping with the test sample and control sample, and calculate the antibacterial activity value.
