Applications/Examples of results
【Testing Method】 Each test fungus is pre-cultured (for about 1 to 3 weeks) to prepare a mixed spore suspension. The mixed spore suspension is inoculated onto the sample (test piece) and cultured in an environment conducive to fungal growth (e.g., 26±2°C, relative humidity 95-99%) for 1 to 4 weeks. Afterward, the growth of the fungus is observed both visually and under a microscope to determine the degree of fungal development. *Basically, it is not possible to distinguish the degree of development of each test fungus contained in the mixed spore suspension. The assessment is made based on the overall degree of development of all test fungi present in the mixed spore suspension.
