We designed a testing device that measures the power of eyeglass lenses and can hold the lenses while performing 5-axis movements. By freely moving the set eyeglasses or lenses in 5-axis directions, we measure the specifications after lens cutting. At the request of an optical equipment manufacturer, we have been implementing responses toward mass production while repeatedly designing and prototyping from the initial concept. To miniaturize the device, which is usually the size of a shoe cabinet, to a tabletop size, we are compacting it with a sturdy aluminum frame and high-precision motors and sensors.
