Our company is responsible for the 3D modeling of the exterior, which requires high design quality, as well as the assembly of parts that hide screws and components. ◆Background Leading to Introduction This product was created in an era when humanoid robots were not yet common. The sale of jewelry required a subtle yet eye-catching beauty to attract attention. Therefore, there was a request to give a striking beauty by making the torso (upper body mannequin) movable. ◆Solution The movable mechanism was developed by another company. Our company was tasked with achieving both a sleek modeling shape and maintenance that does not compromise design aesthetics. To ensure that there were no steps in the alignment of parts, we designed the components to fit together on the same plane.
