The "Board Inspection" by Kairoski is a full-node inspection conducted from the perspective of an analog circuit designer before the actual prototype of the board is made, to determine whether the layout is "ideal" and whether adequate risk mitigation measures have been implemented as much as possible. Through the board inspection, we can propose ways to enhance the reliability of the equipment, such as noise reduction and heat generation reduction. Of course, there are aspects that can only be understood through prototyping and actual verification, but by taking preemptive measures on points that are likely to have a significant impact, we support efforts to "reduce revisions" and "create reliable and competitive products." Applications/Examples of results
Over the past eight years, we have developed and designed over 250 analog circuits, circuit boards, and conducted circuit board inspections. Since 2020, we have also provided technical support for motor drive control in drones and other applications to leading companies in the industry, with the following as one example. (Development Example) Model: Power distribution board for drone propeller control Objective: Design a power distribution board measuring 80mm x 80mm to handle a maximum of 100A for 10 minutes Result: Designed a board for simultaneous output control of six propellers (100A during control) for continuous operation of a large drone (60A output) and maintaining its posture. The board is compact for a high current distribution board, and even when 100A flows for 10 minutes, it was designed to keep the temperature rise of the mounted components within the operating temperature range. [Key Points] Due to the limited size, special measures were necessary for heat management. As a new approach, multiple copper bars were installed, and the positions were adjusted to ensure that the vias did not hinder current flow. Additionally, the thickness of the copper foil for other patterns was increased compared to usual, implementing various innovations. As a result, the temperature rise during 100A operation for 10 minutes was kept to 55 degrees, ensuring that the components remained within their operating temperature range.
