At Nippon Kayaku, we offer a variety of optical films for HUD (Head-Up Display) applications. Each of these films features high heat resistance and durability against high temperatures and humidity, which are required for automotive displays. ■ Polarizing Film for Dust Covers 'SGF' This is a polarizing film designed for dust covers used in HUDs. By using it in HUD dust covers, it suppresses the rise in temperature inside the HUD device caused by external light (such as sunlight) and helps prevent the degradation of HUD optical components. ■ High-Durability Polarizing Film for HUD LCD Panels 'GHC' This is a high-durability polarizing film for HUD LCD panels. It offers superior heat resistance and light resistance compared to conventional polarizing films. ■ Polarizing Film for Light Path in HUD Units 'CRP' This is a polarizing film installed in the light path within HUD units. It helps suppress the rise in temperature caused by external light (such as sunlight) inside the HUD unit. ■ Phase Difference Film for Sunglasses 'Wavelength Plate' This is a phase difference film (wavelength plate) for polarized sunglasses used while driving. There were instances where drivers could not see the HUD with conventional polarized sunglasses, but this film resolves such visibility issues.
