basic information
Urethane molding is a fast and cost-effective method for small-scale production. Silicone molds are created with the help of prototypes that serve as the basis for the replication process of original works. Thanks to the flexibility of silicone, complex interlocking shapes can be achieved without any issues during demolding. The base material used for replicas is liquid polyurethane resin, which can simulate various plastic properties by using additives. Depending on the requirements for materials and surface finishes, 15 to 30 parts can be manufactured. It is suitable for small lots and prototypes where the production of expensive injection molding molds is not feasible. The injection molding process is the most common, important, and economical method for mass-producing plastics, especially high-performance engineering plastics. Our company supports rapid tooling (prototype molds), trial tooling (bridge molds), hardened molds, small-scale production, mass production (bulk production), and on-demand production.

Applications/Examples of results
Urethane molding can accommodate sizes up to 2.2m*1m*1m and weights up to 20kg. For larger sizes, it is also possible to process more complex products using RIM technology. We can sufficiently meet diverse needs. Very high precision can be achieved, unaffected by the complexity of the structure. Typically, we can achieve ±0.3mm/100mm. There are experimental molds and mass production molds for injection molding. Experimental molds are mainly used for low-end products with low demand. Since materials like P20 and C45 are used, the lifespan is usually between 1 to 5000 molds. Mass production molds use standard mold steels such as 718, NAK80, and S136.
