We provide a seamless product development process from prototyping to mass production! Please feel free to consult us about prototyping and mass production.
We would like to share technical information about metal 3D printing developed by the Japan Micro MIM Group. The binder jetting method is becoming popular as a high-precision metal additive manufacturing (AM) technology. In the binder jetting process, a binder is sprayed onto metal powder from a nozzle to create the desired shape. During this spraying process, force is applied, which can cause distortion in the shape being created, especially for small metal parts. Additionally, when removing the workpiece, unnecessary metal powder may be blown away, and there is a risk that the workpiece itself could also be blown away. At Japan Micro MIM, we combine 3D printing and MIM technology to provide a seamless product development method from prototyping to mass production, referred to as "3.5D Printing." If you think "prototyping with MIM is expensive and time-consuming," or if you feel that "there are too many compromises with existing processing technologies" and are considering giving up on your design, please feel free to consult us about prototyping and mass production. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Taiho Industry Co., Ltd. is a subsidiary of Japan Micro MIM Holdings Co., Ltd., and is responsible for the manufacturing of μ-MIM in collaboration with TAISEI KOGYO (THAILAND) CO., LTD. By using our self-developed feedstock (MIM raw material), we can mass-produce fine and high-precision metal parts that are difficult to manufacture with conventional MIM. We excel in areas that were previously challenging, suitable for parts with thin sections, products requiring high dimensional accuracy, and mass-produced items that demand high process capability indices, regardless of steel types or alloys. We have established a rapid and reliable evaluation system using the world's most advanced measurement and analysis equipment, directly linked to development speed. We cater to a wide range of industries, including not only medical devices but also optics, communications, and industrial equipment.
