The LXT camera equipped with JPEG image compression functionality can compress and transmit/store original images, making it ideal for capturing long-duration image sequences at high resolution and speed. The compression ratio can be individually adjusted according to the application. The image compression function built into the camera's FPGA takes on the computationally intensive image compression algorithms used in PC-based image processing systems.
