The device is a converter used for testing motor drive inverters, and during propulsion, it performs constant voltage control using an AC/DC converter and a chopper for power adjustment. During regeneration, it performs constant voltage control with a regenerative chopper from the motor drive inverter and regenerates to AC input via a DC/AC converter.
