Device for winding and storing the tow tube, installed on the test aircraft to test the RVSM of the aircraft.
The device is designed to calibrate aircraft altimeters for the purpose of shortening vertical separation intervals, which were introduced in domestic airspace in 2005. It features a mechanism that winds up a tube several dozen meters long, which is deployed from the tail of the aircraft. The device has a large drum at its center, onto which the tube is wound. Both the winding and deployment of the tube are automatically operated by electric motors, and inching operation is also possible via an operation button. Additionally, there is a manual winding mechanism available in case of motor failure. 【Features】 ■ Winds up a tube several dozen meters long that is deployed from the tail of the aircraft ■ Has a large drum at the center of the device for winding the tube ■ Both winding and deployment of the tube are automatically operated by electric motors ■ Inching operation is possible via an operation button ■ Includes a manual winding mechanism for motor failure situations *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
