The hot water entering the heater core is the cooling water from the radiator. In recent years, the popularity of hybrid vehicles has led to a shortage of this heating source. This is due to the reduced heat generation from the engine, as it operates intermittently. Especially in winter, the lack of heating has led to practical methods of supplementation, such as using electric heaters (PTC heaters).
