Sandblasting Sandblasting is a blasting method that uses compressed air from a compressor as the acceleration energy for particles, and when people refer to blasting, they often mean this sandblasting. Shot blasting This method involves rotating a wheel and using centrifugal force to accelerate and project particles. Wet blasting This is a wet blasting method that accelerates and sprays a mixture of water and abrasive material (slurry) using compressed air.
