Applications/Examples of results
Depending on the manufacturer and engine, an overhaul (hereafter O/H) is performed after approximately 8,000 to 10,000 hours of use, or around 500,000 to 800,000 kilometers. The process involves disassembly → cleaning → measurement → judgment on the reuse of each part → ordering parts → engine assembly → test run → painting → delivery. The engines we overhaul are mostly in the range of about 3,000CC to 30,000CC, and we receive requests for a wide variety of engines, including those for in-house vehicles and trucks. Recently, with the advancement of exhaust gas regulations, electronic control engines have become more common, but the engine body, excluding the electronic control parts, is treated in the same manner as regular engines. Horiguchi Engineering Co., Ltd. handles repairs of various internal combustion engines and industrial machinery, as well as manufacturing and repairing parts for special vehicles, construction machinery, machine tools, and marine equipment, along with support equipment for aircraft.
