The fluidized dip coating method is a type of powder coating method. Powder coating is placed in a container (fluidized dip tank) with a porous plate as the bottom, and compressed air is sent from the bottom to make the powder coating flow. By preheating and placing the workpiece to be coated into the container where the powder coating is flowing, the powder coating adheres and forms a coating film by melting due to heat. Typically, a film thickness of 250μm to over 500μm can be achieved with one coat, depending on the immersion time. *The film thickness may vary depending on the heat retention condition of the workpiece. Characteristics of fluidized dip coating: In fluidized dip powder coating, a high film thickness of 200μm to 500μm is achieved. Since it uses powder coatings that are 100% solid without organic solvents, it does not cause air pollution and is an environmentally friendly coating. The high film thickness provides excellent durability (insulation, chemical resistance, corrosion resistance, weather resistance). Additionally, due to the characteristics of polymer resins, it maintains excellent coating strength and adhesion. ◆ Types of powder resin coatings suitable for fluidized dip coating: - Polyethylene - Nylon - Epoxy resin - Fluororesin Thermoplastic coatings have the characteristic of melting and changing shape when heat is applied, and hardening and stabilizing in shape when cooled.
