[Information] IT modernization of human operations for manufacturing site DX <Exhibited at Smart Factory 2022>
Visualizing human tasks that tend to be left behind on the manufacturing floor with high-precision indoor positioning hackke! Introducing key points of IT implementation using PxDT tools.
In recent years, Japan has been facing a declining workforce due to a decreasing birthrate and an aging population, prompting the need for measures to address this issue. In the manufacturing industry, approaches such as the use of RPA and IoT, as well as the introduction of equipment for labor-saving and improving operational efficiency, are being advanced. This document covers the "background of the need for IT modernization of 'human tasks' in manufacturing sites," as well as "IT support tools for indoor location management of people and objects." If you are a manager in a manufacturing environment who must promote operational efficiency but are unsure how to approach it, or if you feel that your operations are analog and inefficient, we encourage you to read this. ★ At "Smart Factory Japan 2022," which will be held from October 19, 2022 (Wednesday), we will showcase the indoor positioning tool hackke(TM), which is useful for the IT modernization of human tasks. We will introduce a newly released tool that visualizes location information in a browser. *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

Pixie Dust Technologies (PxDT) is a university-origin venture aiming to be a driving force that provides a bird's-eye view of the world from the perspective of digital technology and leads to a new equilibrium. We contribute to this realization by researching and developing technologies that control waves (sound, light, electromagnetic waves) that connect the digital and physical worlds, and continuously implementing them in society. For example, in the Workspace/DX area, we have the sound-absorbing metamaterial technology "iwasemi(TM)", the spatial data processing system "KOTOWARI(TM)" that realizes on-site DX, and the high-precision indoor positioning sensor "hackke(TM)". In the Health Care & Diversity area, we are developing and deploying technologies such as ultrasonic hair care "SonoRepro(TM)", "SOUND HUG(TM)" which allows people to enjoy music through their bodies regardless of hearing ability, and new UI devices for the hearing impaired, as well as technologies related to dementia. We will continue to implement new technologies in society through industry-academia collaboration and open innovation. ■ Corporate Website ■ https://pixiedusttech.com/
