Prototyping with suitable molds available in our company! Introduction of a case where foaming was achieved without foaming on the inner diameter side.
Here is a case study of manufacturing foamed extruded products. We received an inquiry from a customer asking, "Is it possible to extrude pipes using foamed PP?" Generally, among the various types of extrusion, PP is a material that is difficult to foam extrude. Moreover, when it comes to hollow pipes, it becomes even more challenging. Based on previous experience, I believed it was possible, so we prototyped using a suitable mold available in our company. The result was a hollow shape, and we were able to achieve foamed extrusion without foaming on the inner diameter side. [Overview] ■ Material used: PP (Polypropylene) ■ Processing content: Foamed extrusion *For more details, please refer to the related links or feel free to contact us.
